In the dynamic world of Laser Locators, Alex began his journey in 2020, bringing a wealth of global experience from bustling the streets of New York to the serene Japanese landscapes. As Procurement Specialist, Alex is instrumental in pioneering innovative strategies to engage our clients.
Outside of work, Alex thrives in nature, enjoying hiking and biking adventures. He also enjoys reading, studying the Japanese language, and quality time with his family.
Medical Equipment Packer & Facilities Associate
Josh brings a precision-first mindset to Laser Locators, backed by a career that spans the U.S. Army, logistics, operations, and technical services. As a former Combat Engineer, he’s built on the discipline, adaptability, and problem-solving skills that now fuel his meticulous approach to preparing, handling, and shipping ophthalmic equipment.
Whether he’s ensuring every system is packaged to perfection, keeping our facility running smoothly, or expanding his knowledge of advanced ophthalmic technology, Josh takes pride in getting it right the first time.
When he’s off the clock, you’ll find him restoring vintage pipes and watches, tinkering with new tech, or heading outdoors to reset and recharge.
Logistics & Technical Support
Noah serves as a Logistics & Technical Support at Laser Locators, where he ensures equipment moves efficiently through every stage of our operations. From coordinating shipments to supporting the technical team with setup, testing, and troubleshooting, Noah plays a key role in keeping our workflow smooth and dependable.
He joined our team more than 10 year ago, and he’s known for his reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in wherever the team needs support. Whether it’s organizing inventory, preparing equipment for customers, or assisting with technical tasks, Noah helps maintain the high standards our clients expect.
Outside of work, Noah enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to build his technical skills.
Field Engineer
Fábio is a Field Engineer at Laser Locators with more than two decades of experience specializing in ophthalmic equipment service and repair.
A physics graduate with technical training in electronics, Fábio has worked in the ophthalmic maintenance field since 2000. Over the years, he has completed extensive training both in Brazil and internationally, continually expanding his expertise across a wide range of systems and technologies.
His long-standing career has allowed him to build strong relationships with partners and suppliers around the world. These connections give him access to shared knowledge, emerging technologies, and reliable parts sourcing—ultimately ensuring faster, higher-quality service for customers.
Fábio is known for his depth of technical skill, commitment to excellence, and customer-first approach in every service interaction.
Fractional Chief Marketing Officer
Ronda leads Marketing and Communications for Laser Locators, bringing a combined three years of fractional support to the team. She focuses on clear, consistent messaging, stronger brand visibility, and marketing efforts that help generate leads and keep customers engaged across every channel. Her work ensures the brand stays connected, trusted, and top-of-mind.
She’s also the founder and owner of JP Creative Co., a small marketing consultancy, where she works with a mix of healthcare and service-based clients. Ronda’s approach is simple: stay practical, stay creative, and keep things moving.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, hot yoga, LSU and Tampa Bay Lightning as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Logistics Field Technician
Eric is a Logistics Field Technician at Laser Locators, supporting equipment transportation, setup, and field service operations with precision and reliability.
A Tampa Catholic graduate, Eric continued his studies at Hillsborough Community College and has built a diverse technical background. He has worked as a Data Technician and an Electrician Apprentice, and for more than 12 years he has successfully managed his own online retail store.
Eric joined Laser Locators in 2024, bringing strong technical instincts, hands-on problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused work style to the team.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys working out, paddle boarding, cycling, maintaining and modifying automobiles, and exploring horology.
Technical Program Manager
Eli holds a degree in Outdoor Recreation & Resource Management from Indiana University and brings a diverse background in operations, logistics, and hands-on technical work. Before entering the ophthalmic space, Eli owned and operated a special event rental company in Indianapolis for more than 11 years, gaining deep experience in project management, customer service, and complex equipment setups.
Eli joined Laser Locators in 2019 and now serves as a Technical Program Manager, where he oversees technical workflows, supports equipment testing and refurbishment, and ensures projects move efficiently from start to finish.
Outside of work, Eli is at his best outdoors especially on the water. He enjoys kayaking, fishing, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and kids.
Service Technician
Thomas Bates has been a vital part of the Laser Locators team since 2017, excelling as a Service Technician. Originally from Santa Clara, Cuba, Thomas moved to Tampa, Florida, at the age of two. Prior to joining Laser Locators, he gained valuable experience in construction alongside his father. Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Thomas is dedicated to expanding his expertise while maintaining his role at Laser Locators. Outside of work and academics, he enjoys fishing, automotive maintenance, and motorcycle riding. His transition to a Service Technician reflects his ongoing growth within the company.
Field Engineer
Wilvert is an Electronic Engineer trained at Instituto Politécnico Nacional and has more than 20 years of field service experience across the medical technology space.
He began his career at Abbott Laboratories, spending seven years strengthening his technical foundation as a Field Service Engineer. He then expanded his expertise with three years at Baxter before moving to Bausch + Lomb, where he spent a decade specializing in Refractive and Cataract Systems and supporting customers across the ophthalmic industry.
In 2021, Wilvert joined Laser Locators, and he brings deep technical knowledge, a service-focused mindset, and a commitment to ensuring every system performs at its best for the practices that rely on it.
Outside of work, Wilvert stays active through exercise and weightlifting and enjoys spending quality time with his son.
Service Engineer
Andrew Graham, Service Engineer, joined Laser Locators in January 2016. In his job, Andrew services, tests, and repairs a variety of laser and diagnostic equipment at our headquarters in Tampa, Florida. He brings with him an extensive amount of knowledge in servicing and repairing electronics with his Associate’s degree in Science from United Education Institute (UEI) College in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining the Laser Locators family, Andrew worked in business communications repairing equipment at the component level. He, also, worked for GTE Mobile Net where he installed and repaired all cell phone lines.
Andrew was born in Jamaica, where he lived for 10 years until his family moved to Toronto, Canada. After four and a half years in Toronto, he and his family moved to Florida where they have stayed ever since. Andrew enjoys the Florida sunshine and fixing up his classic all-wheel drive truck with his son.
Executive Assistant
Terry Davidson, Executive Assistant to our Operations Team, has been a valued member of Laser Locators since June 2017. In her versatile hybrid role, she handles a wide range of tasks from QuickBooks management to organizing trade shows, and everything in between. Additionally, Terry verifies and proofs content related to inventory, inbound and outbound shipments, marketing, and much more.
Originally from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, Terry sought warmer climates and relocated with her family to sunny Tampa, Florida, where they lived for 18 years.
With extensive experience as an executive assistant in the engineering, management consulting, and real estate industries, Terry is exceptionally well-suited for her role at Laser Locators.
In her spare time, Terry enjoys spending time with her granddaughters and pets, golfing, and watching baseball—especially cheering for her favorite team, the Angels.
Lead Engineer
Dylan Sierk joined Laser Locators in November, 2017 as a Service Technician. His duties include deinstallation/install, analyze, rebuild, calibrate, test, rebuild and repair a variety of diagnostic equipment, lasers, power supplies and other components used in the industry of Ophthalmology. The position also consists of diagnosing problems, service and the testing of other ophthalmic mechanical lasers and equipment. Dylan has been promoted within as Lead Engineer.
He was trained by the U.S. Army to troubleshoot and repair electronics specializing in the Javelin and TOW missile systems. Before joining Laser Locators, Dylan was working as an industrial electromechanical repairman where he worked with a team maintaining the automation for a major logistics network.
Dylan was born in Florida and in his spare time he enjoys photography and exploring local sights.
Account Manager
Amanda Wilson is an accomplished Account Manager at Laser Locators, where she combines her expertise in sales and procurement to nurture enduring relationships with clients. With a focus on cultivating long-term and returning customers, Amanda excels in understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions for each practice.
Amanda is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Biomedical Science, providing her with a solid foundation and understanding of the medical field.
Her years of experience in the restaurant industry equipped her with a deep understanding of customer service and operational efficiency, which she seamlessly integrates into her approach as an Account Manager.
Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda’s dedication to excellence extends to her community involvement. In 2016, she was honored as the recipient of the Tampa Bay Woman of the Year award, recognizing her outstanding Philanthropy.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Amanda enjoys spending her spare time outdoors, boating. Her passion for adventure and relaxation fuels her creativity in both her personal and professional endeavors.
With her wealth of experience, unwavering commitment to client success, and passion for continuous growth, Amanda Wilson continues to make a profound impact at Laser Locators and within the Tampa Bay community.
Steve Urueta is a Service Engineer/Vendedor and joined Laser Locators in May 2015. He services and repairs a variety of laser and diagnostic equipment at our headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining the Laser Locators family, Steve worked with us as a consultant over the last few years. He has an extensive background in the ophthalmic industry. Steve has worked for Bausch & Lomb Mexico where he was in charge of Technical Services for all of Latin American. Prior to Bausch & Lomb, he oversaw Technical Service for Abbott Laboratories for southern Mexico. Steve has had extensive training with Excimer lasers, Orbscans, Femtosecond lasers, as well as Yags and Argons.
Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering, one year of Master’s degree in Administration and fourth year of medicine superior studies. He has completed many training programs including Axim, Cell Dyn, Simex, excimer laser, Orbscan, Millennium, Field Service and Femto Second Laser. Steve is fluent in three languages — English, Spanish and French.
Steve moved, with his family, from Peru to Tampa to join Locators Locators. In his spare time, Steve enjoys swimming and going to the beach with his family.
Director of Service
Margee Perkins, Director of Service, joined the Laser Locators team in August 2016. Margee comes with a background in customer service and clinical ophthalmology. She is responsible for managing the service department, helping all customers with their service questions, testing and checking equipment, keeping track of all equipment and communicating the weekly tasks with the service team. She has also taken over our logistics planning for our white glove delivery service.
Margee was born in Arizona and moved to the Tampa Bay area at the age of three. With fourteen years in customer service and cosmetology, her commitment and strong relationships in the community help her build and maintain customer satisfaction. Prior to Laser Locators, Margee worked as a technician and clinical leader in a large multi-specialty ophthalmologist office. Her understanding of both engineer and medical verbiage allows her to communicate efficiently with both technicians and doctors to solve any customer problem with ease.
She most enjoys spending time with her family and friends and trying to keep up with her two sons, Benjamin & Beauregard.
Director of Operations
Anthony is the Director of Operations at Laser Locators, where he oversees daily operations, workflow efficiency, and the end-to-end customer experience. Known for his steady leadership and get-it-done mindset, Anthony keeps the business running smoothly by streamlining processes, supporting the sales and technical teams, and keeping customer needs at the center of everything we do.
Cliff is the Lead Service Technician and handles logistics at Laser Locators. In his job, Cliff inspects and services all of the laser equipment before it ever reaches the customer. His role is critical to ensure that all of the products meet the rigorous standards of Laser Locators.
Cliff is a native Floridian. Before he joined the Laser Locators team, he was in the manufacturing and logistics industry, making him a perfect addition to the team. He loves spending time with his granddaughter, son-in-law and daughter. His hobbies include working out, riding dirt bikes and sipping fancy tequila.
Tayra has been an integral part of Laser Locators since 2005, serving with distinction as the Chief Financial Officer. In her role, she not only oversees the financial operations of the company but also plays a pivotal role in managing human resources, ensuring the smooth functioning of critical organizational processes.
With her astute financial acumen, Tayra meticulously manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and reporting. Her strategic insights and recommendations are instrumental in enhancing the company’s financial performance, while meticulously ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Tayra’s educational background is as impressive as her professional accomplishments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the esteemed University of South Florida. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Florida, exemplifying her commitment to excellence and adherence to the highest professional standards.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Tayra is deeply rooted in the Tampa Bay area, where she has spent her entire life. Her dedication to her community is further demonstrated by her proud service in the US Army, where she exemplified the values of discipline, integrity, and service to others. Tayra’s multifaceted background and unwavering dedication make her an indispensable asset to Laser Locators and a respected leader in both the financial and local communities.
Joey Colarulo is the President, CEO, and owner of Laser Locators, where he has spent more than two decades shaping the company into a trusted global leader in ophthalmic equipment. With a focus on precision,service, and long-term relationships, Joey has built a brand that is synonymous with integrity and excellence in the ophthalmology space.
Under his leadership, Laser Locators has tripled its sales volume, expanded its team with 13 new positions, and established enduring partnerships with ophthalmologists, distributors, and manufacturers worldwide. Joey has redefined the customer experience, streamlined operations, and positioned the company at the forefront of refurbished diagnostic systems and ophthalmic lasers that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Joey’s expertise in global internet sales and marketing, which began in the late 1990s, paired with his deep understanding of the ophthalmic laser and diagnostic equipment markets, gives him a unique ability to anticipate industry trends and deliver tailored solutions that stand the test of time.
Originally from Philadelphia, Joey earned his degree in Financial Management from Rowan University, graduating magna cum laude. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an avid collector of rare watches, vintage sports cards, and unique cars. He’s often found enjoying time with his German Shepherd, always with a double espresso in hand.
