-The Final Fit software evaluates and converts the OPD Scan’s (not included) refractive and topographic data to produce the precise customized ablation parameters for the Laser.  The Final Fit software converts the total target ablation into 3 different compositions:  sphere, cylinder and irregular.

Multi Point Ablation Module

-The Multipoint Ablation Module divides the rectangular shaped laser beam into 6 equal spots of 1 mm in diameter, which can be individually or simultaneously projected onto the cornea for a more precise of small area irregularities.  Two consecutive spot beam centres are separated by 1.8 mm.  New algorithms and a patented delivery system direct these spots to smaller, more specific areas on the corneal surface requiring additional treatment to compensate for subtle irregularities and aberrations in the eye.

Torsion Error Detector

-Torsion Error Detector is a must for custom ablation, it also improves the efficacy and standard cylinder correction.

200Hz Tracking System

-The new eye tracker with auto alignment function features greater speed and accuracy for optimal results.  With the new offset function, the surgeon can arbitrarily set the centre of the pupil (within -/+ 1mm) as needed.

The Nidek laser’s patented technology offers a 7.5 mm transition zone, one of the largest available, meaning it has the range to safely and effectively treat patients with large pupils. If patients with big pupils are treated with a laser with a narrow transition zone, they are at an increased risk for glare and halos following surgery.

Bausch & Lomb 217z Excimer Laser System

Using flying spot technology the Zyoptix® System, the world’s leading wavefront-guided laser for personalized vision correction, allows surgeons in the United States to treat myopia up to -7.00 Diopters and astigmatism up to -3.00 Diopters.
