Dylan Sierk joined Laser Locators in November, 2017 as a Service Technician. His duties include deinstallation/install, analyze, rebuild, calibrate, test, rebuild and repair a variety of diagnostic equipment, lasers, power supplies and other components used in the industry of Ophthalmology. The position also consists of diagnosing problems, service and the testing of other ophthalmic mechanical lasers and equipment. Dylan has been promoted within as Lead Engineer.

He was trained by the U.S. Army to troubleshoot and repair electronics specializing in the Javelin and TOW missile systems. Before joining Laser Locators, Dylan was working as an industrial electromechanical repairman where he worked with a team maintaining the automation for a major logistics network.

Dylan was born in Florida and in his spare time he enjoys photography and exploring local sights.

Thomas Bates, Service Assistant, joined the Laser Locators team on March 13, 2017. In his job, Thomas assists the service team with any task they need. From packing and unpacking equipment to cleaning and perfecting our equipment and parts to mowing the lawn and checking in equipment, Thomas is a huge asset to the service team and their success.

Thomas was born in Santa Clara, Cuba, and is fluent in English and Spanish. When he was two years old, he moved to Tampa, Florida, with his family, where they have lived ever since. Before working at Laser Locators, Thomas worked construction alongside his dad, picking up on all the traits and skills that have helped him tremendously in his work here at Laser Locators.

Thomas is in his Junior year at Alonso High School, where his favorite subject is History. Every day around 1:00 p.m., after Thomas has completed his classes, he comes to work part-time with the Laser Locators team. His dedication, hard work, and loyalty make him a great student and employee. When Thomas is not in the classroom or at work, his hobbies include fishing, shooting, fixing and driving cars and spending time with his lovely girlfriend, Holly.

Terry Davidson

Terry Davidson, Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Sales and Sales Department, joined Laser Locators in June 2017. In this role, she creates sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders; she books trade show and travel arrangements, she assists with inventory check-ins, she assists the sales team with their day-to-day tasks, and she assists the Marketing Director.

Terry grew up in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Growing tired of the long, cold winters, she moved with her family to sunny Tampa, Florida for 18 years. Blossoming in her career, Terry most recently moved to Palm Springs, California for one year to work for the largest vacation rental company in California as their Marketing Coordinator and Airbnb Reservation Specialist. Missing the Tampa area, she moved her family back to start working for Laser Locators.

Terry’s years of experience as an executive assistant in engineering, management consulting, and real estate industries have made her the perfect fit for her new position on the Laser Locators’ team.

In her spare time, Terry loves spending time with her three sons, golfing, and watching baseball; especially the Angels, her favorite team.

James brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience as an 88H-Cargo Specialist in the United States Army to his role as Service Assistant at Laser Locators. He assists with all day-to-day tasks and is instrumental in assuring our deliveries get packaged with care and are sent out on time. James is responsible for the maintenance at Laser Locators and assists with both packing and unloading equipment.

Before his time at Laser Locators, James spent five years in the United States Army and served 15 months in Iraq while also beginning his college education as a Biology/Premed Major. James has an adorable daughter and ballerina, Alice, and when he is not taking care of her and going to recitals, he is enjoying autocross racing, video games, and shooting. James work for the MUCH Foundation where he makes and wears costumes while visiting children’s hospitals and at local fundraisers.

Laser Locators margee-perkings

Margee Perkins, Director of Service, joined the Laser Locators team in August 2016. Margee comes with a background in customer service and clinical ophthalmology. She is responsible for managing the service department, helping all customers with their service questions, testing and checking equipment, keeping track of all equipment and communicating the weekly tasks with the service team. She has also taken over our logistics planning for our white glove delivery service.

Margee was born in Arizona and moved to the Tampa Bay area at the age of three. With fourteen years in customer service and cosmetology, her commitment and strong relationships in the community help her build and maintain customer satisfaction. Prior to Laser Locators, Margee worked as a technician and clinical leader in a large multi-specialty ophthalmologist office. Her understanding of both engineer and medical verbiage allows her to communicate efficiently with both technicians and doctors to solve any customer problem with ease.

She most enjoys spending time with her family and friends and trying to keep up with her two sons, Benjamin & Beauregard.
