Tampa, FL – June 27, 2014 – Laser Locators is excited to announce the addition of Jerry Cotto to their team as a service engineer.

After spending 6 years in the U.S. Air Force and another 3 years as a Navy reservist, Jerry Cotto went on to get his LPN license and started working in the medical field. Cotto then joined Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) as a Senior Field Service Engineer. He remained with AMO for 11 years and gained extensive knowledge in reading schematics and blueprints and using electrical test equipment. This experience has given Cotto the ability to work on multiple brands of ophthalmic lasers.

During his time with AMO, Cotto received his RN license. With his previous EMT experience, he left AMO to pursue a career as an ER nurse for several years. After heavy recruiting by Laser Locators, he agreed to join the team. His history with the medical and ophthalmic fields allows Cotto to address issues quickly and efficiently with the least amount of inconvenience to doctors.

In his work as a service engineer, Cotto has traveled across North America from California to the Caribbean. His fluency in English, Spanish and Italian will help Laser Locators continue to provide great service to customers around the world.
