Laser Locators Announces Tayra Paul as 2016 CFO Finalist of the Year
Tayra Paul, our Chief Financial Officer, has been named a finalist for the 2016 CFO of the Year Award by the Tampa Bay Business Journal in the Small Private Company category. This makes the second year in a row that Tayra has been named a finalist for CFO of the Year.
Finalists are chosen by an independent selection panel based on a variety of criteria. The CFO of the Year Award credits Tampa’s top financial professionals for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards. They must also show a solid track record of success positively impacting local communities and demonstrating their commitment to service.

As Chief Financial Officer of Laser Locators since 2004, Tayra manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reporting; provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities; ensures that effective internal controls are in place and compliant with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Tayra holds her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is a life long resident of the Tampa Bay area. She volunteers accounting and tax preparation services for the Westchase Charitable Foundation. In addition, Tayra is actively involved with St. Lawrence Catholic Church and lends her time and financial expertise to them.
