Over the past two decades, Tayra’s leadership has been instrumental in steering Laser Locators through growth, strategic acquisitions, and innovation. Her ability to balance forward-thinking financial planning with day-to-day operations has provided the foundation for our continued strength in the ophthalmic equipment industry.

Tayra’s influence extends beyond our walls. She was recognized as a CFO of the Year Finalist by the Tampa Bay Business Journal for three consecutive years in 2015, 2016, and 2017 honoring her outstanding contributions to the business community.

Rooted in Tampa Bay

A proud graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Accounting, Tayra is also a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Krewe of St. Brigit, an organization that combines philanthropy, education, and cultural celebration. Through the Krewe, Tayra supports initiatives that uplift women and children, contribute to local charities like Joshua House, and enrich the traditions that make Tampa’s community so vibrant.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Tayra is deeply rooted in the Tampa Bay area, where she has spent her entire life. Her dedication to her community is further demonstrated by her proud service in the U.S. Army, where she exemplified the values of discipline, integrity, and service to others.
