Marketing & Public Relations Assistant
Emily Harriott, Marketing & Public Relations Assistant, joined the Laser Locators team in June 2015. She has a background in public relations and retail marketing. She assists the Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations by managing the company’s social media, publishing company press releases and blog posts, and contributing to event planning.
A sophomore at Florida Gulf Coast University, she is studying as a Communications major. She completed her first year of college receiving all A’s and B’s, maintaining a spot on the Dean’s List. She is a member of the Chi Omega Sorority on campus and currently serves as their Assistant Social Chair as well as their Assistant Recruitment Chair. She loves raising money for their sorority’s philanthropy the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
She previously attended Alonso High School and graduated with high honors. She was involved at school as part of the National BETA Club and National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Alonso High School Dance Team and a Youth Group Leader at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. While in high school, she often volunteered at Metropolitan Ministries and organized a holiday food and toy drive to raise money for the organization. She also participated as a team member in Relay for Life, raising money for cancer for all four years at school.
